What is the difference between Junior Suite, Comfort Suite and Luxury Suite?

The three families differ mainly in size and layout. The Junior Suites (32-34 sqm) are compact spaces with an integrated sleeping and living area, suitable for two or three people. The Comfort Suites (44 sqm) offer a larger living area with a sofa bed, completely separate from the bedroom, an extremely spacious walk-in shower and a double washbasin. The Luxury Suites (48-52 sqm) are the largest, with a separate sleeping area and sitting room and, in some cases, a four-poster bed. The bathrooms have both a bathtub and a large shower.

Is it possible to have twin beds instead of a double bed?

Yes, in several suites the double bed can be separated on request, for example in the Junior Suite Azzurro, the Comfort Suites Giallo&Blu, the Luxury Suites Arancio and the Luxury Suite del Sogno. When booking, it is advisable to indicate your preference between a double bed and twin beds.

The Luxury Suite dei Ciclamini is a north-facing attic: it looks north-north-east, over the forest, the Spinale and Pradalago lifts, the direct Canalone Schumacher run and the striking granite peaks, including Cima Zeledria and Cima Serodoli.

The Luxury Suite del Sogno, on the ground floor and easily reached without using the lift, has a huge picture window overlooking the 5 Laghi slopes and the peaks of the Presanella group.

The Junior Suites Rosso&Verde and Azzurro on the first floor have access to their own garden and are also accessible to guests with disabilities. The Luxury Suite Arancio on the first floor also has its own garden. The Comfort Suite on the first floor has a small terrace as well as a French door onto the garden. The Luxury Suite Panna&Verde on the first floor has a small terrace.

The availability of a balcony or a garden therefore varies from suite to suite: for a specific request it is advisable to contact the property.

Are there suites suitable for families or groups of 4-5 people?

Yes. The Comfort Suites and the Luxury Suites accommodate 2 to 4 people, and the extra beds come from the sofa beds in the living area, which convert either into a small double bed or into two single beds. The Junior Suites are suitable for families of up to 3 people. The Luxury Suite del Sogno accommodates up to 5. The Luxury Suite dei Ciclamini consists of two connecting rooms, the suite itself and the Ranuncoli room, which serves as a living area with a sofa that converts into a single bed and an additional pull-out bed: it is therefore particularly suitable for families.

Is it possible to add a bed for a child?

Yes, in every suite an extra bed can be made up from the sofa bed in the living area. The Luxury Suite del Sogno, for example, accommodates up to 5 people with an additional single bed, while the Ranuncoli room of the Luxury Suite dei Ciclamini has a convertible sofa and a raised pull-out bed. For families with children, it is advisable to contact the property directly.

Are there connecting suites?

Yes. The Luxury Suite dei Ciclamini, located in the attic, consists of two connecting rooms: the suite with the sleeping area and the Ranuncoli room used as a living area, with a second bathroom. It is the ideal solution for families or small groups who want more space while staying in a single connected environment.

What materials and comforts are the suites furnished with?

Every suite has a walk-in closet and top-quality hypoallergenic mattresses. The Comfort and Luxury Suites have a traditional working majolica stove. The furnishings use fine materials such as Swiss pine and reclaimed wood from Alpine farmhouses, with floors in pure Montecarlo wool carpet or in brushed, heat-treated larch. The lighting is LED and the bathrooms have large showers and, in some suites, bathtubs, some of them with whirlpool. Sheets and duvet covers are 100% made in Italy in cotton satin, with a choice of 7 types of pillow. Bath towels are 100% pure cotton, also made in Italy, soft and absorbent.

Which is the largest suite in the hotel?

The largest suite is the Luxury Suite del Sogno, about 52 sqm, located on the ground floor and reachable without stairs or lift. It has a large window overlooking the 5 Laghi slopes and the peaks of the Presanella group, a double bed, a French sofa bed and a bathroom with double washbasin and double Teuco hydro-shower, and can accommodate up to 5 people.

3. Skiing and winter

Is Hotel Chalet del Sogno ski-in/ski-out?

Yes, Hotel Chalet del Sogno is a ski-in/ski-out hotel, located beside the Spinale Express gondola and on the slopes of the SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta. Leaving the ski room, a few steps take you to the Spinale Express gondola, where the direct Spinale run with the Canalone Schumacher, the black slope, and the blue slope also end, the latter reachable from Pradalago, Spinale and Grostè.

How far is the hotel from the ski lifts?

Hotel Chalet del Sogno is next to the Spinale Express gondola, right beside the building. The gondola reaches 2,100 metres in only 6 minutes, giving direct access to the SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta.

Which ski areas does the hotel give access to?

From Hotel Chalet del Sogno you can ski straight into the SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta - Val Rendena - Val di Sole, which links Madonna di Campiglio with Pinzolo, Folgarida and Marilleva. The Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta ski pass also gives access to the other resorts in the circuit, among them Passo Tonale and Paganella (Andalo and Molveno). The Dolomiti Superski resorts, such as Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena and Arabba, are reachable by car.

Is the SkiArea included in the Epic Pass?

Yes. The SkiArea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta is part of the Skirama Dolomiti circuit included in the Epic Pass. Holders of the Epic Pass, Epic Adaptive Pass and Epic Australia Pass are entitled, under the terms of the programme, to seven consecutive days of skiing in the Skirama Dolomiti resorts (Madonna di Campiglio included), on presentation of their season pass and an identity document at the ticket offices. It is a benefit much appreciated by guests arriving from the United States and Australia.

Is it possible to rent ski equipment at the hotel?

Yes. In the ski area, on Grostè, is the Ursus Snowpark, one of the most important snowparks in Europe, with features for all levels for snowboarding and freestyle. The snowpark was conceived and designed in the late 1990s by the owner of the hotel, Alberto Schiavon, together with his brother.

What winter activities are there besides alpine skiing?

Besides alpine skiing and snowboarding, the Madonna di Campiglio area offers many winter activities: cross-country skiing (among the finest in the Alps, along the route of the Campiglio golf course at Campo Carlo Magno), ice skating, dog sledding, ice climbing on frozen waterfalls, ski mountaineering on unique routes through wild landscapes of great beauty that extend between the Brenta Dolomites and the snowfields and glaciers of the granite Adamello-Presanella group, with mountain guides if required, and snowshoeing along mapped, prepared trails that can also be walked on foot. Night skiing on the Canalone Miramonti, home of the historic 3Tre FIS World Cup race, is not to be missed.

Is the hotel open in summer too? What is there to do?

Yes, Hotel Chalet del Sogno is open in summer from June to September. In the summer season guests can enjoy walks and hikes, via ferrata routes and climbing, mountain biking, road cycling, golf and fishing in the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, as well as many other activities such as picnics, horse riding, rafting, skydiving and adventure parks.
